Information you choose to share
When you contact Recollective, apply for a service, subscribe, or send an inquiry, you may provide information such as your name, email address, website, social profiles, and message.
How we use it
We use that information to respond, deliver the requested service, improve our work, and keep our systems safe. We do not sell your personal information.
Form delivery
Inquiry, application, and field-notes forms are submitted to FormSubmit for delivery to j@recollective.me. The submitted fields can include your name, email address, company or creator handle, social profiles, links, and message. FormSubmit states that submission archives are retained for 30 days. Its handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Course accounts
If you create a Recollective account, we store your email address, the name and learning goal you give us, your course progress, and the notes, practice and prompts you write in lessons, so they follow you across devices. We also keep basic sign-in records, such as when a session started and the type of device. Please use made-up details in practice exercises.
Passkeys
If you add a passkey, we store only its public key and a label. Your fingerprint, face or device PIN never leave your device and are never sent to us.
Payments
Course payments are processed by Link, Stripe's payment service, which acts as the seller of record and calculates any sales tax or VAT. We never see or store your card details. We receive the purchase details we need to give you access, such as your email, the course, the amount and the date. Link and Stripe handle payment data under their own privacy policies.
Emails we send
We send sign-in codes, a welcome email after purchase, and replies to your messages. These are delivered through our email provider, Resend. We don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Cookies and storage
The course uses essential cookies only: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 180 days, and a cookie that opens private previews. The course also saves your progress in your browser so it works offline. We don't use advertising cookies on the course pages.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. We then remove your profile, progress, notebook and passkeys. We keep a minimal record of purchases for tax and accounting, as the law requires.
Other third-party services
Recollective relies on service providers for hosting, databases, payments and email. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete information you have provided, or unsubscribe from marketing messages, by emailing j@recollective.me.
